Where's the toffee?
I awaited these bars with great anticipation, having been a real fan of AmberLyn chocolates for many years. I popped them into the fridge because it's really hot here now. Imagine my disappointment a few hours later when I found them to be not very chocolatey, and to have nothing at all in them that said "toffee" to me. No little crunchy bits, no alluring burnt sugar or buttery flavor notes, just some pretty waxy-tasting bars, even when they warmed up enough to soften in my mouth. Sorry, but these were not worth the price of admission. Looking at earlier reviews I wonder if I just got a bad batch, or if they've changed the formula. A disappointment nevertheless.

not as pictured
I love the flavor and consistency of the dark chocolate but was very disappointed not to find any English toffee! I expected a chocolate covered toffee bar from the pictures on the website. I ordered 3 boxes and have eaten 1 bar. Really disappointed!

No Toffee
I would have given this product 5 stars except that I was lead to believe from the picture on the website that there was toffee in the middle of the chocolate. However, upon review of the site, I found that the claim is that it has a buttery toffee flavor - not the toffee itself. In spite of that, I love it!! The dark chocolate is not bitter and very smooth. Not being able to have sugar, I have tried many sugar free candies and this is the best quality I have found yet. I would recommend this to anyone, whether they can or cannot have sugar.

Very impressed with this product
I am D Type 2 and my wife watches her carb intake in general as part of her diet. We both tried the SUGAR FREE DARK ENGLISH TOFFEE BARS for the first time, and loved it! Delicious, satisfying and well worth the price. We will be reordering on a regular basis.

This is absolutely amazing! It doesn't crunch like a regular toffee bar would but that doesn't mean anything!
Be careful, the laxative effect is true LOL, but I couldn't have just one!

Subtle Toffee Taste
Love, love, love these dark chocolate bars! I have no absolute favorites but these are at the top of my list along with the chocolate nibs & orange bars.

Dark Choclate Toffee Bars
This bar does not like a crunchy toffee bar. (Think Heath) It is solid dark chocolate with hints of toffee flavor. Outstanding!

Long Time Customer
Haven't a clue how many years I've ordered from Amber Lyn but I continue to repeat doing business with them. As a Type II diabetic I get my dark chocolate and no sugar. Win win
